What is Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)?

The McConnellsville PTO is a formal organization that consists of parents, teachers, and school staff that began in 1997.  The PTO's goals include involvement of parents in the form of volunteering, encouragement of teachers and students, community involvement, and supporting the overall welfare of students and families.  Many dedicated parents, over the years, have worked to create a positive impact in our school.  

The McConnellsville PTO is always looking to provide any and all support to our students through funding classroom projects, field trips, and other school events. Example of some events we sponsor throughout the school year include the Homecoming Parade float, Thanksgiving Harvest Dinner, Holiday Make-n-Take (with Santa), Holiday Shop (which allows students to purchase various items for family members for the holidays), Poinsettia Sale, Valentine's Day Dance, Spirit Popcorn Fridays (end of each month), Staff Application day/week, Fun Day.  

All are welcome as we look forward to everyone being involved and supporting our school!
